Ape Escape - PlayStation

Ape Escape is a PlayStation platformer built around chasing escaped apes through 3D stages. Its standout hook is analog-only control, using both sticks on the DualShock analog controller for movement, gadgets, and actions.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. The disc play surface is in nice condition.
• The game centers on hunting down over 200 unruly apes after a zoo escape turns into ape anarchy.
• Gadget-based gameplay includes tools such as a Tank, Remote Control Car, Stun Club, Time Net, SkyFlyer, Slingshot, and Monkey Radar.
• Bonus rounds, mini games, and clock-racing time attacks add extra challenges beyond the main ape-catching stages.
• Analog mode is required, and performance may vary with controllers that do not support PlayStation analog control.
• Vibration Function support is included when used with a compatible controller.

The game requires 1 block on a PlayStation Memory Card for saving progress. Its dual-stick control scheme is the central feature that separates Ape Escape from earlier PlayStation platformers built around digital controls.
